Most bed frames fail at the joints. The Alvorum Thorne Heavy-Duty Metal Bed Frame is built around a welded steel platform rated to 1,100 lb, with a soft-pack upholstered headboard that carries a charging station where a nightstand would normally sit.
Thorne removes the box spring from the equation. Steel slats spaced close enough to support a mattress directly, a headboard that keeps two phones charged overnight, and an assembly that goes together with an included wrench in under an hour. It suits modern, industrial, minimalist and contemporary bedrooms.
