The Alvorum Solvi Convertible Lift-Top Coffee Table sits at coffee height until the top lifts and slides forward, turning into a surface for eating or working without leaving the sofa. A walnut finish over an engineered wood frame keeps it at home in living rooms, apartments, studios and home offices.
Solvi answers the small-space problem of needing a dining table there is no room for. The lift mechanism is gas assisted and holds at full extension, and the compartment beneath the top swallows remotes, laptops and magazines so the surface stays clear. How much clearance do I need in front of it?
Allow about 12 inches. The top slides forward as it rises, so it moves toward the sofa rather than straight up.
What fits in the hidden compartment?
