About this piece
The Alvorum Amber Floor Lamp sweeps a slim dark wood and steel arch over your sofa or chair and finishes it with a glossy orange acrylic dome. Lit, the shade glows a warm amber that recalls 1970s design; unlit, it is a bold sculptural accent in a neutral room.
The arch is telescopic and adjusts by twisting at the joints, so you can set the reach and height of the shade exactly over a reading chair or the end of a sofa. A weighted round base keeps it steady, with no need to drill into the ceiling for overhead light.
It takes a standard medium base bulb, and a test bulb is included. An ideal arc floor lamp, mid-century reading lamp and statement standing light for living rooms, reading corners and bedrooms.
